Tastes

Popped bottle smell is sweet. First pour smell is pure ethanol the lingers into a sweeter aroma. First taste is mildly spicy and sweet, maybe a hint of maple? After taste is mild but pleasant. I really good sipping whiskey that has enough spice for flavor but it doesn't hit hard nor overwhelm. Its really enjoyed it.

Initial smell is rich, strong ethanol. Hits your nose hard. Has a warm oak smell. First take has a definite spice to it but also mellow aftertaste. Goes down smooth. The spice hits you harder than the taste. I would describe it as inoffensive and good. Feels like it would be a good cold weather drink. After a few sips, the splice goes away, mostly hints of vanilla and oak but doesn't last long.

Pretty good, I prefer Four Roses though if I'm going for inexpensive. Has a little spice to the taste. Mild oak flavor

Great overall taste but didn't leave a lasting impression.

My go to for inexpensive sipping whiskey. Smooth going down and easy to drink.
