Tastes

Nose: honey, caramel, corn sweetness, a hint of fresh bread Palette: oak, honey, cream Finish: smooth with a pleasant heat lingering in the mouth, not much travel The key word is smooth. The wheat really sands off any rough edges from a traditional rye bourbon. From nose to finish, even the alcohol burn lands softer. Definitely worth seeking out, particularly if you've never tried a wheated bourbon.

Nose: cherry, honey, cereal grains Palette: honey, floral Finish: leather, chocolate, allspice Really nice, easy-drinking bourbon. The finish is moderate with enough heat to be there without overpowering.

Nose: maple, vanilla Palette: maple, floral notes, oak Finish: moderate length & burn Drinks really easily for the proof; especially nice on the rocks.

Nose: cherry, vanilla, pepper Palette: pepper, caramel Finish: oak, with a decent amount of heat that hangs on for a pleasantly long finish

Nose: cherry, vanilla, honey, oak, corn dust Palette: vanilla, cinnamon Finish: cherry, short

Nose: mint, vanilla Pallette: leather, orange zest, brown sugar Finish: oak, walnut A good, classic-style bourbon. Decent neat, better on the rocks. Short finish. Good cocktail base. I'm liking it more as it ages with some air in the bottle than I did on the first pour.
