Slipknot No. 9 Iowa Whiskey
Blended American Whiskey — Iowa, USA
Reviewed April 30, 2021 (edited November 21, 2021)Not bad but more than a novelty. A little less bite than Old Grand Dad BiB but double the price. Not quite every day drinker territory.39.99 USD per Bottle -
(Originally a 2.5 before opened and breathed a couple weeks) Spicy. Wheat-y. Unique. Not terrible, but not worth the price. I got this hoping for an "end of the week and relax" type of bottle, but its definitely not that. Ive read it was only aged 15 months. That might explain the disappointment.50.0 USD per Bottle

New Liberty Bloody Butcher Bourbon (9 Months)
Bourbon — Pennsylvania, USA
Reviewed December 28, 2020 (edited April 20, 2023)First off, bourbon must be aged 4 years. This was aged 9 MONTHS. Its simply whiskey. There are probably a lot of purists that are upset at New Liberty for calling this bourbon. Their tasting notes...milk chocolate, butter, leather, and stone fruit. MY tasting notes.... Hay. It tastes like dried grass. If this wasnt a gift, i would be pretty upset at myself for buying it. Its not bad, but i certainly wouldnt call it good. -
