Oak, hint of char, a little caramel in there, a touch of florals. A nice, soft bourbon.

This is an interesting bourbon. The PX finish is prominent, in a good way. Fairly sweet (think honey and caramel), hints of fruit and spices, faint oak, maybe a flash of dark chocolate. Finish fades a bit too quickly. It seems to be a little on the young side (could use a little more maturing), but I could be wrong. Overall, it's good, and I would buy it again.

Won the lottery for my county and got to buy a bottle...no, not a Pappy, but definitely worth sipping! Not going to bore you with details, will simply say this is a very nice bourbon. Although different in flavor, every bit as good as Pappy 15 in my book. If you ever get the chance...

This whisky has some pleasant notes, but on my palate there's some roughness around the edges that I didn't like. Having now tasted Black, Green, Gold, and 18 (Platinum), this one is on the bottom of the Walker list for me.

I've had this whisky several times now, and it gets better every time! If you enjoy the results of wine cask finishing, this is one to put on your list. When I first tasted this whisky in 2015, the price was $175 US, but now it's $269. Not a good thing.

Pleasant dram. After several tastes on different occasions, I like the 15 year old (Green) a bit more.

Thus far, my favorite of the Johnnie Walker line, having tried Black, Green, Gold, and Platinum or 18. I haven't tried Blue yet. This is a nice blend of Island and Highland whiskies.

Sipped neat, no burn for me, even though the ABV is high. A nice dram.

A good bourbon at a very reasonable price!
