Reviewed September 22, 2017 (edited October 16, 2017)I get a distinctive cocoa note on the tongue and finish, burned sugar, astringent. I wonder if the French oak staves are imparting these flavor notes. It might be the "chai" notes in the Tasting Notes. A small drop of water makes a big difference, rounder, fatter, far less astringent.
