Pure Rubbing alcohol nose, worst I have ever smelled. Taste is not terrible, but bland. Hint of smoke. Touch of caramel and vanilla, black pepper, slightly herbal and bitter citrus. Tastes cheap. Rough on the tongue, though surprisingly smooth swallow. HOT TAKE: tastes like bad gin. HOT TAKE 2: "Journey" definitely refers to the rollercoaster of flavors experienced in this whisky. 8/13/19

Harsh nose, bit of smoke, dark fruity body, pretty harsh for 21 years. 8/11/19

Tastes cheap and like rubbing alcohol. Caramel sweetness, hint of smoke and black pepper. Skip it. 8/9/19

Spicy chamomile honey, strong but smooth, light smoke, nutty caramel hints. Black pepper. Highly impressive!

Clean nose, touch of alcohol but fruit and mild smoke too, caramel. Taste: Smoke, then anise, raspberry, caramel, full bodied, hint of lemon rind, alcohol aftertaste. 8/13/19

Nose: candy caramel sugar drop. Taste: smoked salted caramel, milk chocolate, hint of baking spice, vanilla candy. Damnnnn. No harshness, pure pleasure. Next level stuff. Hours later as I laid in bed, I was still fantasizing about that flavor. 8/13/19

Paint thinner, citrus nose. Not as bad as expected. Strawberry banana caramel. Decidedly harsh. 8/16/19

Nose caramel, ripe berries, orange, hint of smoke. Smooth, caramel, very light smoke, spices, citrus, tingly on the tongue. 8/16/19
