Mortlach 15 Year (Game of Thrones Six Kingdoms)
Single Malt — Scotland
Reviewed September 29, 2020 (edited May 1, 2021)Sweet, briny, and oily on the palette. Complex flavor profile. Finish is slightly bitter. Overall, very good... interesting. -
Nose: sherry & butterscotch; Palette: sweet sherry, moderate alcohol burn (in a good way, keeping things interesting); Finish: warm, sweet, and slightly drying from the tannins (just right). This is a fairly one-dimensional whisky but the proof keeps it interesting. The Aberlour A’bunadh is better (and one of my favorites), but for the price—28€ for 1 liter—this is absolutely worth a try. Cheers!32.0 USD per Bottle
