Simply a masterpiece from 1792. Very sweet nose with notes of vanilla, fruit, and spice. Notes of fruit dance on your tongue first, followed by a symphony of flavor featuring sweet brown sugar and vanilla. You’ll find these notes resonating in your mouth long after the orchestra’s final chords, with a finish as smooth as can be; trailing off with a hint of peat and slight smoke. This work of art 1792 calls a “bourbon” packs an astonishing amount of full proof flavor with the smoothest finish I’ve ever had with that kind of power. As a fan of high proof whiskeys, it’s hard to imagine tasting a bourbon I like more than 1792 Full Proof, but I have yet to try their other offerings. Highest rating I’ve ever given a whiskey.
