Rare Breed was the third Wild Turkey product i tried but the first one I purchased that left me wanting more. The proof on this one clocks in at 58.4% abv and packs a punch. If you’re new to drinking whisky and want to ween off mixing drinks, start with WT 81, reduce to only ice cubes only with WT 101 and if you can handle a lil more bark, drink Rare Breed neat. A little goes a long way with this one.

I personally feel rating this as 5 stars for me is based on quality, price and abv / proof. Due to not having this exact bottle available in Canada it is a rarity to enjoy this whisky. A nice proof with tastes of vanilla, cinnamon and a pack of smokiness is very enjoyable on the palate. A dram worth having in your collection and one i look to repurchase soon. If you enjoy bourbon, this one has two distillers who have product knowledge and the recipe for success. This is purely different from their other signature bottles. A very refined drink. It’s a few notches above Rare Breed. Keep this stocked at all times.
