Nice sweet nose with pleasant aromas of apples, vanilla and baking spices. The palate is spicy at the outset, but quickly mellows with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is smooth and buttery, coating the inside of your mouth like a warm hug. This may be my favorite bourbon tasting of 2020. Well worth the price I paid, which was slightly above MSRP but nowhere close to secondary market prices. Cheers! 🥃

This was a fantastic barrel pick from the folks at Toco Giant. Easy to drink. Warm and smooth. Great neat, on the rocks or in an old fashioned. Definitely one of my favorite value bourbons (<$30)

This has been my go-to barrel proof bourbon to get through COVID-19 quarantine. It’s definitely got a kick but it goes down smooth, especially with a little water.

Fantastic bourbon! Notes of caramel, orange zest followed by chocolate and toffee are present. Definitely a traditional Woodford with their mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley. Beautiful bottle art from former Braves pitcher and sports painter Richard Sullivan. Considering this year’s Run for the Roses has been pushed back due to COVID-19, this bottle is certain to be a collector’s item.
