Clase Azul Tequila Reposado
Tequila Reposado — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed December 24, 2022 (edited February 24, 2023)I’ll start by saying that it’s all up to the individual and I’m not here to say you’re right or you’re wrong in your drink choice. You like what you like and that’s all there is. That being said, I am fairly certain that Clase Azul uses a good amount of additives to get this flavor. They’ll never say they do, but this isn’t a very “tequila” flavored tequila. Most of the time that distillers add flavors or colors to their juice, it’s because they aren’t happy with what they are producing, so they have to add stuff to make a mediocre tequila taste good. Personally, I don’t like added flavors and such in my tequila, I prefer additive free. If you like it, go for it…I just think you should know what your drinking and paying for. It is a beautiful bottle though. -
