Barrell Bourbon Cask Finish Series: Amburana (Release 001)
Bourbon — USA
Reviewed June 29, 2024 (edited November 9, 2024)Not a fan of amburana. Too woody for me.28.0 USD per PourSovereign -
Castle & Key Single Barrel Restoration Rye (barrel 4301)
Rye — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed June 12, 2024I think I like the regular Restoration Rye (2023 batch 2) just a tad more from this single barrel, but its close. The blended version has more nuance and better flavor; a credit to the blender. This barrel isn't bad though, just lacks ever so slighty in flavor. A decent offering. Slight pepper notes. A bit hotter. Worth the $75 though.75.0 USD per Bottle -
Castle & Key Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon (barrel 2458)
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed June 11, 2024Was hoping for more from this. Tastes too young to me; needs more barrel. Still smooth, not harsh. Lacks in flavor.65.0 USD per Bottle -
Dalmore Luminary No. 2 - The Collectible (2024 Edition)
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed June 11, 2024Ran slightly hot for me at first. Heat subsided in about 5 minutes with an ice ball. Smooth flavor. Hints of vanilla, light caramel, and sugar. Glad I was able to purchase as its a very limited offering. I was lucky enough to get after a Dalmore tasting session at a liquor store that only got 6 bottles. Only 3600 bottles available in US. Not in my absolute favorite scotches, but pretty high up there.350.0 USD per Bottle -
King of Kentucky 15 Year Bourbon (2022 Release)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 8, 2024 (edited June 9, 2024)Decent bourbon, but don't understand the hype. To me it was just a very good bourbon; nothing exceptional.60.0 USD per PourThe Café
