Early Times Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 19, 2018 (edited May 21, 2018)This is a great bourbon for the price(as are most BiB). Smells like a Rickhouse. Vanilla, carmel, graham cracker up front with a peppery burn medium finish. It’s a nice everyday drinker that I wish would stick around. -
Rich caramel and corn smell with a little hint of seasoned oak, cinnamon. This has viscous mouth feel that coats the tongue and lips. I get hints of apple a first with heavy Carmel and then a light cinnamon at the end. It’s smooth with little burn. It tastes like an older, more dense Buffalo Trace(go figure). Between the two, I choose this every time. Especially, when I can get it for only about $3 more.

Heaven Hill White Label Bottled In Bond 6 Year
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 13, 2018 (edited May 30, 2018)The price point makes this an easy 5 star bourbon. If it were twice the price, it would still be a 4 star to me. It’s good neat, with water/ice, or in a cocktail. It makes a great Manhattan. -
Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 13, 2018 (edited May 7, 2018)This is a solid pour, and a great value. The flavors are a little too soft and muted for my taste, so I don’t regularly buy it. However, I would recommend it to anyone just getting into bourbon or who prefers a lower proof unique single barrel. -
Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 13, 2018 (edited September 17, 2018)These are great, especially when you can find store barrel picks. I always have an open bottle rotating on my shelf.
