Tastes

Very thick mouthfeel with a creamy, spiciness. Lots of oak and nuttiness. There is a slight sweetness, with almost no alcohol burn. I just wish the price was a little better.

The nose is rough but the taste has dark chocolate and coffee notes. It finishes with very little burn but with some bitterness. For less than $20, I don't see an issue here.

Act 2.7 Fruity flavors up front that fade into a spicy rye with tons of cinnamon. Finish is long with lots of dried fruits.

A decent first attempt from Willett. The nose has something off about it that I can't quite get my hand on. The taste packs lots of rye with some light floral notes and honey. The finish was a little sweet with some fresh mint. If you can get it for the retail price, it's a decent buy. If not, wait until it has some more age.

Sweet, oaky nose with taste that has sweet, creamy cinnamon. Long spicy rye finish. Really smooth and easy to drink. Not a great value, but certainly delicious.

Good, complex rye. Lots of floral flavors in the background like the Double Rye, but the Rendezvous Rye has vanilla and burnt sugars up front.
