If you drink your bourbon neat, this might not be your new favorite. Tasted a bit to me like some one melted some ice in it, then realized I wanted it neat so they fished the ice out and called it good. It's smooth, but the aftertaste is kind of ... absent.

If you're not totally clear on what people mean when they say a bourbon tastes "smokey", the Elijah Craig 12 year is happy to clarify for you. Tasty with smoked meat or something that's been grilled and not smothered with anything sweet - or maybe just accompanying a mild cigar while you enjoy a nice yammer with a friend.

Kind of like a cordial and a whiskey had a baby that was conceived while they watched White Christmas. The blackberry cordial is the strongest partner in this relationship, but you can tell they have a happy marriage.

Very pretty ombre bottle. Smooth with an easy, caramel-y burn on your lips and tongue. Smells a bit like a sugar cookie. Delicious and consistent from start to finish.

If you've ever baked an apple pie, and had it boil over in the oven,and then thought, "Wow! I would really enjoy licking the bottom of the oven out after that cools down!", then this whiskey is perfect for you. It's cloudy, it's syrupy, it's licking the bottom of a recently cooled oven while someone shakes a canister of cinnamon over your face. Enjoy!

Has a very strong NYAH taste at the end. Some vague suggestion of berries. Could see an old timey doctor administering it as a medicinal to an elderly woman who swooned at a wintery social event.

Tasty! Had the aggressively sweet burn that I associate with Japanese whisky. Nice to sip.

Had it at a Christmas party, don't remember it really. Must not have been great or terrible.

Tasty. A little bit like berries. Easy to drink, which some dood at the bar said was bad, but that seems silly to me.

Sweetish, smooth, pleasant burn.
