Very impressed with this bourbon. Flavorful, good amount of heat while keeping it in check. Will buy again.

The tasting description for this JD is the most spot on I have come across yet. Stewed apples? Nailed it. Long finish, yep. Another whiskey that is making me feel dumb about my twist cap bias.

The nose is super fruity, which I liked. Not bad, and makes me reconsider my bias against screw top caps.

Long finish, surprisingly good for such a young age. Might be a 4, need to drink more. When you’re young you get sad, but not so with this whiskey.

Smooth, thin, very short finish. Summertime and the living is easy, the fish are jumping and while not bad, I’m probably not buying this whiskey again.

Never start static I just get it off my chest. Never had to battle with no bulletproof vest. Take a small example, take a tip from me. Take all your money, give it all to Woodford Reserve. Sweet, surprising almost no burn. Short finish but it’s great. Would buy more.

C918 131.4 proof, for such high proof it needs ice, but opens up nice. You're wondering who I am-machine or mannequin. With parts made in Japan, I am the modern whiskey man. Pro tip: Secret secret, I’ve got a secret.

Can’t make up my mind on this one, it’s not bad but there’s nothing that stands out to make it great...whatever that would be. Makes me think of the great Bonnie Rait who says “'Cause I can't make you love me if you don't. You can't make your heart feel something it won't.”
