Well, well, well - a rye that doesn’t overwhelm you with spice. And that’s not even the best part! It’s a sweet, approachable rye, that’s an easy supper, even at 110 proof. Cherry on the nose, decent mouthfeel, cereal notes on the palate, and cinnamon and oak on the finish. Tasty!

Lots of toffee, chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon. Great, oily mouthfeel, and while it has heat, it’s not too hot and it’s not spicy. Definitely a top shelf choice.

A solid pour, but not EC’s best. Nice oaky flavor, and great mouthfeel. Although the proof is a little lower than other releases of theirs, the there’s a lot of spice that makes this one a bit too hot for me going down.

Really tasty for the price point. Cherry on the nose, excellent full mouthfeel, oily texture, lots of chocolate, smooth and easy finish. Just need to find where to buy it locally...

Nice balance of oak, cherry, toffee. Lots of flavor, and only pleasantly spicy. Really very tasty. Very enjoyable near, and not hot for 120 proof. I’ll be looking for other KC varieties after enjoying this one so much.

This is easily my go to bottle. A store pick, it has mild sweetness, moderate oak, mild spice, and great mouthfeel. Creme brûlée in a bottle.

Enjoyed the sweet notes - brown sugar, caramel - and didn’t mind the heat. A bit too much spice for me, but not unpleasant.
