Same distillery as VBO. A little sweeter, a little less spice that Very Old Barton. It gets better the longer the bottle is open. Good sipper, or just one ice cube. Try it. It's in the right price range to get a small bottle. You can always add a soda if you don't like it.

It's ok. For me Woodford Malt Whiskey is much better.

Pretty good. Some sweetness, some spice. At $40 a bottle in Virginia, for me there are better bourbons. Bit I'll get this once in a while.

Good straight. But at this price point, there's better bourbon out there for me.

Smooth, vanilla, light with a little smoke. Very hard to find in the N.Va, MD, DC area. Happen to find in a small town in MD on a business trip.

Ok. For my taste nothing special for the price, almost $40. in N.Va. For me there are better bourbons/rye for this price.

At first I didn't think this bourbon lived up to all of the hype. My bottle went back into the closet for a few months. When I went back to it, WOW. Now I get it. Great flavor. Smooth, perfect sipper. Sadly, very hard to find in my part of Virginia. It's in DC for almost three times what I paid for it in North Carolina. Guess I'll save my change and make trips to DC!

As others have said, really good drink for a break from bourbon and/or scotch. Sweet, then some spice, vanilla. A keeper.
