Think of this more as an herbal liqueur. It’s not stellar and pretty thick. I’d imagine it would be ok with tonic. But really not that worth it

Side by side tasting with Kraken and Jonas Curse. This one stood out as the winner. Though just slightly lighter in color than The Kraken, this is way more complex. Smells like spicy taffy. Super smooth drinking, burnt sugar and coffee notes; complex palate compared to the other 2. Love it!

Side by side tasting with Jonas Curse and Myers. This is a solid dark rum! Really smooth, spicy (cinnamon/nutmeg/clove) blend lingers. Slightly sweet and thick, simple taste profile. Would easily buy this for a mixed cocktail night

My benchmark of gin, but that might be because it’s what my grandparents drink. It’s very piney with lots of juniper. Kinda smells like rubbing alcohol but not a harsh nose burn
