Tastes

This is surprisingly fantastic stuff. Bushel of rich fruits on the nose, hint of orange peel and a spicy character (not quite pepper and certainly not anise... maybe coriander?). Raisins and honey. Tastes are fig syrup with vanilla and raspberries, cinnamon and floral notes. Not much oak explicitly present. Pastries and citrus and maybe strawberries on the finish, almost like an orange and berry marmalade danish. Nice and coating. Big profile without punching you senseless. If you didn't know the ABV, you'd be surprised it was 53.6%. Delicious.
