Nose: Sweetness shines through, with vanilla, apples and marzipan. Some citrus notes emerging as well. Taste: Very light, with fruit flavours (especially apple) quickly emerging on the tongue. Smooth, with little burn, or indeed lingering aftertaste. A very easy to drink dram, especially if you want something light, easy, and not overly complex.

As mentioned by others, a seemingly good whisky on the nose (with very heavy Sherry influence) is completely let down by the finish. The harshness of the finish suggests this is a very young whisky that could have done with more time in a non-sherry cask. A disappointment considering the price.70.0 GBP per Bottle
