Thought I’d get something a little different, this peaty little single malt is incredibly complex! Little bit sweet on the nose, one sip though and immediately get the warm, spicy and smokey flavour that just keeps on lingering. Just right to end a big week and bring in a cold and wet weekend.

This 17yo blend of malt and grain whiskies highlights why Japanese whiskies are in such demand and unfortunately in such short supply. Hints of honey, burnt butter and caramelised sugars give it a smoothness. A warm and peppery finish reminds you what you are drinking. If you can find an excuse to spoil yourself, this is worth a look in!
