Very nice bourbon. High proof, nice flavors. Definitely a good bourbon for the price. I know it’s sourced but it tastes very good. Would definitely buy again.

Very sippable bourbon. Low proof makes it that way in my opinion, plus it smells sweet and tastes sweet as well. Not overly sweet, a very good sweet taste.

Great Rye, especially for someone new to Ryes. Smooth for a BIB with some very nice spice notes. Easily had neat or on the rocks. I recommend this especially for the price.

I’m tasting a hand select bottle (Barrel 12172). Nose is very nice, floral with oak, caramel, vanilla, maple and brown sugar, maybe some leather. Alcohol smell is a little strong but not overpowering. Palate, smooth up front and in the middle. Small punch in the back that lingers quite a while(107 Proof). Oak flavors, faint cherry, green apples. First taste, will report more later. Added one ice cube and it changed completely. It feels flat now. The nose is still very nice but the taste flattened out. I’ll try a few drops of water next time.

Spicy on the nose for sure. My first thought was paint, actually. Maybe because I had painted a room in my house earlier in the week. Sour apple nose? Very accurate description by the pro. Not my favorite, I tend to lean towards less spicy but still a good dram. Only my first glass so we shall see what the next glass tastes like. Update... Second day, second drink. So much better than the first. Not sure why, but it is. Nice baking spices, smooth with some heat that isn’t overpowering. Nice proof as well. Bottle is gone. Final conclusion...I liked that bottle. It took some time but I really liked it. I would buy this again, especially for $35.00

More heat than Russels Reserve. Nice pour all together. I prefer the regular Russels to this.

Great bourbon! Light, fruity, a faint drop of heat at the end. Lots of flavors I can’t describe like the pros can. Well worth the money. Update, probably my favorite bourbon yet. Such a fantastic value!
