I dig! Sweet honey and butter. Champagne goodness

Getting past the smoke and peat (which are clearly in play and actually kind of sweetened(?)) sweet nilla like I’ve never tasted before in a scotch. Campfire extreme but damn if it isn’t sweet juice. Easy down at a high proof with the butterscotch follow through, I’m digging it

Whoa, not the sweetness that I was expecting/hoping for. Instead quite spicy, young dry splintering wood chips. Aggressively dry, small hints of corn bread but hardly worth mentioning. Needs to be said that this is the first pour from my first (and probably last bottle) so no oxygen has been able to mingle inside the bottle. I typically enjoy bourbons more with some time after ‘opening them/up’. I’m sad to say that this is not something I would seek out again. I often suggest regular Larceny to people new to whisky and bourbon but this just doesn’t have the flavor profile that I enjoy.

Red hot, cherry-cinnamon on the nose. Pleasant. Losing me in the taste....elmers glue - hint of maraschino cherry quickly followed and dominated with burnt Michelin tires from a 96 accord

Fantastic. Peppery cantaloupe is the best explanation. Huge heat but it’s sweet enough to cut through the majority of ethanol. Excellent bottle, need another to keep for a rainy day

Sib Bern’s pick. Little fumey. Anise and floral nose. It’s nice and pungent

Cola cola cola on the taste. The nose is wonderful and probably got me a little too excited after a 100 proof knob creek 12... milk chocolate and Cabernet

Even at 100 proof it feels watered down and muted. Sweet wood, big cedar. Lite cream, good but feels like the richer version could be great...
