Surprisingly good as a sipping bourbon, especially when it is associated with mixing in drinks like an Old Fashion. The predominant hit on the pallet is one of spice, which is why I like it.

Nose: Mild and mellow Pallet: Smooth and buttery Finish: Consistent with a slight spicy completion

The nose is oaky. The beginning starts off mellow and toasty and builds through the finish with cinnamon burst.

NOSE: Hints of vanilla, honey, and cinnamon along with traces of pepper, orange peel and spices Palate: With a mellow start, the journey progresses with a development of flavors including vanilla, honey and orange peel. Finish: The mellow start transitions to pronounced flavors that include pepper, cinnamon and other spices leaving the pallet waiting for the next sip and reminding you that this bottle in bond lives up to this designation.

Smooth vanilla with a spicy finish… the cask flavor was just right…

Really enjoyed this one… medium to full body… and well-balanced.
