My first Japanese whisky. Side not, you spell it with a Y if it’s not from Scotland 😉. So as usual I go off the fist taste, and holy shit this is what the rich folks would say “ exquisite” lol. You can spell the smoothness right off the bat, kinda like a sweet smell but not like a bourbon. It has that scotch taste with a bit smoke to it. Loved it

Macallan Rare Cask
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed February 14, 2020 (edited April 29, 2020)This drink is as smooth as a freshly shaved dolphin. It wasn’t harsh on the palate on the first taste either which was great, I even had the blue label and it still wasn’t as smooth as this bad boy. That sherry cask is what sells it🤔. The smell wasn’t harsh on the nose but you can smell the cherry. It highly recommend for those not in favor of the peat! -
Laphroaig 10 Year
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed February 14, 2020 (edited February 22, 2020)If you love Peaty scotch then this is the one! The first initial taste just lights you up like a cold night by the Christmas tree... whatever that means lol. It has this slight wood taste that will put some hair in your chest. Goes great with a steak too. The smell is a deep smoked wood with a pinch of cherry, gives you a feeling of being a log cabin. Highly recommend my dude or dudette60.0 USD per BottleKailua
