I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I was not expecting too much considering it is a $20. Which proves that you DO NOT need to spend a great deal for a good bourbon. Yes, of course there are better, but this is not only good in a cocktail, but also neat.

Very strong alcohol nose. Taste is sweet at the start (definitely vanilla). Spicy and pepper at the finish. Not bad for a Pennsylvania bourbon

I find it amusing reading what others taste and smell. I swear some just make it up to impress themselves. :) Nose: a little caramel and a bit of alcohol. Taste: pretty much the same Finish: tad bit of heat but pleasant.

This was a 50th birthday gift and it is excellent. Very smooth. Sweet on the go and a bit of nice spice at the finish.
