I haven’t figured out how to make this gin work. The herbal notes are very strong and, in my opinion, it’s just too busy with one sour note (not sure which herb) dominating above the rest. In other words, it’s not well balanced, for my tastes anyway. Adding lemon does help tone things down, but there’s still something amiss for me.

Tanqueray London Dry Gin (47.3%)
London Dry Gin — Scotland
Reviewed October 25, 2022 (edited October 26, 2022)My go-to, cheap London dry gin of choice. It mixes well with just about anything thanks to its relatively smooth, “safe” flavor. -
Delightfully crisp with the kefir lime subtly coming through midway. This is a quality, well-balanced gin, and it stands beautifully on its own or perhaps over ice. I’d imagine that not every mixer would work with it given its unique flavor, so best to try on its own before committing it to a cocktail.
