It is one the sweeter side for a Scotch (likely the sherry casks), it doesn’t have that distinct kick that Scotches have, but it’s also not as tasty as the Macallan Sherry Oak or a bourbon. It’s an in-between that does not justify its price to me. It’s good, but wouldn’t buy a bottle again.

It’s good, a bit sweet. Can drink it anytime but wouldn’t save it for special occasions, it’s missing that ‘unique’ or ‘wow’ factor. It lacks personality and a distinctive punch that I love in whiskey.

Spicy, but light-bodied. Not great!

Complex and balanced. It’s got a sweetness that makes it more palatable, but it’s also smoky and has a high acidity. Really good, the best one we tasted at Jameson. Very unique!
