10x Maker's 46 staves. Has an interesting finish and hot. Looking to air a couple weeks before I review.

Well, I was so excited to see a SA Single Barrel that I didn't read the back label before buying. Distilled in Tennessee. It's not good. The finish is very weird. Guess I'll never experience the glory that was MGP.

This "whiskey" is something different. Great pour after opening, intriguing fruity finish. Will update after it's gotten some air.

Nose: Ethanol Palate: Hot Trash/spicy Finish: Green oak/bitter Final impression: got riffed off

Over-hyped? I struggle to find anything good to say, it was just disappointing. Glad I only ordered a sample. Not much flavor IMHO, other than Sherry and musky barrel. Maybe light vanilla. For the money, no thank you. ***Disclaimer I prefer barrel proof Bourbon over scotch***
