Old Ezra 7 Year Barrel Strength Bourbon

Reviewed January 18, 2022 (edited April 4, 2022)Just opened my first bottle. Caramel, toffee, oak and char, vanilla, fruit and spicy hot finish 2nd tasting stands by the 3.75-4 rating. Bear bakers 7 year single barrel head to head for me. -

Reviewed January 17, 2022 (edited September 3, 2022)Mine was barrel 045 and A32C 35% 5yr, 30% 9yr, 25% 13yr, 10% 15yr. 114.3 proof. Solid bourbon. Salty caramel, vanilla, baking spices. Moderately full mouth feel with a very long spicy hot finish but it isn’t hot up front considering the proof. I would guess higher rye mash as well. -

Reviewed January 9, 2022 (edited January 17, 2022)Licorice? Fruit and heavy oak. Second tasting was better but still not sure worth the premium. Each taste has been better than the last. Full mouth feel almost oily, licorice, oak, fruit with a little spice on the end. -
Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon
