On the harsher side, but that's a good thing. After you sip, it returns with a sensational spicy kick, from your throat to your tongue. Citrus, bitter chocolate, vanilla and smokey wood intermingle and smash your pallet with a boom of delight.

Spices and pepper on the nose with hints of caramel. Bold but smooth as it hits the palate, strong shove of alcohol. As it covers the tongue I can taste sandalwood and sweet vanilla. Very good bourbon, especially for the price.

Just poured the remaining last dram of my second bottle. Sweet smell with caramel and smoke flavors. Sips very easy, too easy.. Subtle spice, wood and smokey flavors with a hint of vanilla and definite caramel. Such a good bourbon.
