Black pepper and tongue burn neat (strangely there is no Kentucky hug). Doesn’t seem to open up much with ice (maybe a little caramel).

Banana and vanilla oak when neat. I get a little caramel when an ice cube is added. One of the first bourbons that got me hooked.

Good high-rye. I leaves a mouth feel I don’t love when drunken neat. Makes one hell of a Manhattan though.
