No character whatsoever. At least it can be mixed. For the price, I’d take a smaller bottle of bourbon with better quality.

Butterscotch enough to be like drinking bourbon from a glass that also has a Werther’s candy in it. I was actually surprised by this one and would try it again when in the mood.

Proof is cut down too much for the expected taste from the description on the bottle. Cornbread aroma, Smooth mouthfeel. Cinnamon flavor with slightly spicy burn going down that dissipates quickly. Not bad, but mostly average.

Nose is not overpowering but smells vanilla and sweet. Initially short and subtle sweet burst followed by a spicy burn and then the Rye flavor kicks in. Can tell this is not a sour mash. Not having any knowledge of other Ryes, this one is unique in its own way.

Nice mouthfeel before a delayed burn afterward. Heat lingers as well. I can’t distinguish many flavors in this one, but each sip seems to be its own experience. After trying this more, the rating went up. One of my new favorites!
