For a cheap Canadian whisky - this does it pretty well. It isn’t exciting but is simple and sweet. At a very cheap price point it doesn’t feel like it’s trying hard either. Definitely a decent cheap whisky for cocktails. Bearable neat too!

Really intriguing herbal/charcoal/flavours that adds pleasantly to the peat.

I noticed a light bit of smoke this time around!

I love this scotch. Such a nicely balanced smokey dram.

For a sweet/smooth bourbon, it does it well. Nice fairly complex taste with a bit of bite - though not anything other good bourbons don’t pull of (and for cheaper)
