Tastes cheap on first sip. Not pleasant, but soon gives way to grainy oats and sweetness. Not great on the nose though.

Orange zest, ginger and vanilla on the nose. Some toffee notes in there somewhere too. Sweet, and zesty on the palate giving way to a lingering peppery finish. Quite expensive though but luckily it was a gift 😊

On the nose, fresh citrus and grain, like porridge. On the palate, more cereal and then a nice sweet vanilla finish. Very nice. Would happily buy again.

Not a massive fan of this one but it was ok. Apple cider with hints of caramel on the nose, almost like toffee apple. Oaky spice on the palate and a bit of appley sweetness coming through after the initial hit.

Very nice whisky. The quarter cask edges this one for me and is probably worth the higher price, but this is still not bad at all. Not quite as smokey although the peat is definitely still there. Smokey and sweet on the nose and the same on the palate.

Not my favourite but not too bad. I found it quite harsh to start but gave way to sherry and fruit after a while. Absolutely no smoke.

Slightly pink in colour. Smokey with a sour note. Not as earthy as I would like. Not an unpleasant whisky but I don’t think I’ll be getting this one again.
