Like the expert said here “bourbon as bourbon” -but not outstanding. This is “The Duke” in name only.

I apparently need to try this again as it has been a while since my experience. It appears to get rated higher than I remembered it.

Amazing

Glass: deep mahogany color Nose: rich and bold aromas of vanilla, maple & slight citrus Palate: Maple, brown sugar, leather and cigar tobacco all joining in. Finish: moderate, warm & pleasant

A solid Bourbon with the traditional and well rounded aromas and flavors of vanilla, caramel and some spice. It is no doubt quality but with NAS and only 91.4 proof it is priced a bit higher than a daily drinker should be. It is good for the price but has competitors.

Excellent everyday dram at a great price point

Hmm, now I’m confused. I’m afraid this doesn’t quite live up to the hype. It’s good but I’ve had equal or better for cheaper.
