Tastes

Nose is incredible. My wife can't stand the smell of Scotch, but loved the smell of this one. Taste is very smooth with notes of dried fruit, almonds and honey. The aftertaste is long where a bit of peat does sneak in. This is a very complex dram and I recommend adding a little water to open up the floral notes. Can't wait to try it with a cigar as the aftertaste would lend itself well for that.

Absolutely smooth. You do have a good initial bourbon taste but the aftertaste is pure rum. If you like smooth bourbons (ex. Blantons) you will like this. If you like "bolder" taste - this is not for you.

Very smooth, not as "heavy" as the typical bourbon. Fruity and floral on the front, with a gentle smokey aftertaste. Can't wait to have this with a cigar.

Smoothest whiskey I have ever tasted.

Phenomenal with a couple of ice cubes to open it up!
