First time having this, and I must say that it does not disappoint. Despite the proof, I’m able to firmly inhale the scent, getting brown sugar, caramel/burnt sugar, a slight maraschino cherry, and perhaps banana and some herbs. This is good stuff on the nose, and the palate doesn’t disappoint. This coats the mouth, but doesn’t burn. Fills with a lot of flavor, including sherry, dark chocolate, and more herb. This is worth every penny.

This is not your typical bourbon — but that’s why I like it! A dry musty nose and strong dark fruit and vanilla on the palate. A clean finish makes this easy to drink. Solid!
