11/21/2015 at MW restaurant week. Everything you want in a whiskey, full and rich, definitely spicier than others. Went well with the steak, went even better with the sweetness if the lemon mirange pie.

10/30 at Wada and Nick's nabe party. Smooth but rich; not as sweet/floral as I expected and not as fruity as other Glenmorangies. I like it best straight up or with a dash of water. On the rocks seems to dilute the flavor. Spice falvors (rumy, nutmeg, etc) still come through

10/03 after kelsie's wedding, tried at The Study. Drinkable with a burn, solid scotch, doesn't dilute too much with ice. Not my favorite; can't taste the sweet over the burn

09/26/2015 tried with tomo at the MW. Chilled straight. Very smooth and easy to drink. Floral and sweet. Probably good with fish or chicken

Very interesting and good straight out of the bottle - does NOT get better with airing. Lots of floral and you can taste oranges, which is interesting. Coke brings out more citrus flavor. Best straight from a freshly opened bottle. After letting it breathe it develops a bite - then it os not quite so distinguishable from any other whisky other than smell. In my opinion it tastes better on the rock at that point. 06/08/2015 to celebrate JHU school of Ed graduation

05/08/2015 - a good keeper for special occasions. Coats the mouth nicely and mellows as it aerates. Can keep for over a year. Good straight.

Tastes exactly like the tasting notes describe - feels smooth. Pretty good neat; okay on the rock

01/01/15 Nose is light and slightly fruity. No real smoky woody flavor. Very different than bourbon. Almost an astringint taste that may take me some getting used to. Better on the rock than neat. Floral comes through a bit but not sweet.

Tastes just like the cheapest johnnie but with all the edges smoothed down. Drinkable neat; probably would not buy this on my own. Better for people with money and not too curious a palate for whisky. Tried at alika's house through his connects with distributors.
