Nose: Fresh pineapples, smokey air but light, faint but still there green apples, some saltiness. Taste: Tires, a light smoke, ham with pineapples minus the overly sweet "rub." Finish: It doesn't linger maybe a minute or two, and she's gone. Super enjoyable dram. Doesn't require too much thought to see what's there. And what's there, you're gonna like. 8/10

Tomintoul 15 Year (Alexander Murray & Co.)
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed December 1, 2023Nose: Almonds with pepper and some fruit Taste: Citrus, some sherry and definitely vanilla, maybe some sauternes. Finish: Medium almonds linger for sure This is as much a desset scotch as any you can have at 54%. It's not astringent surprisingly. The Sherry comes on strong, as does the citrus, but it's not off-putting. Good dram. But it's and end of night one as it swings above it weight. 83/100 -
Nose: school desk and grain alcohol Taste: Red hots honey grain alcohol spice but not discernable Finish: not quick enough. The grain lingers Its kinda spicy but not in a good way. But at 45% its lrobably a decent mixer or something you give your father in law. Then watch him dump all the ice and coke he wants in it. 2.5/520.0 USD per Bottle
