I think this is a underrated bourbon. I love barrel proofs/cask strength mostly. Even though this isn’t one, it’s so smooth and delicious for 120 proof. Now that Stagg Jr is hard to get without over paying this has become a daily drinker for me. I love the nose of this stuff. For me it has some brown sugar with Carmel and ethanol and a touch of leather. It makes my palette tingle. I get some brown sugar and a little bit of vanilla. The finish is what I love best it’s hot and sweet for me but, not too sweet. I have to pace myself with this stuff. To me it’s too easy to drink.

If you like sweet you might like this. Little too sweet for me.

Very smooth for 128 proof. I get a lot of cherry, vanilla, caramel and oak with some mild heat. Missed out on batch 12. Glad I grabbed an extra bottle of 13, it’s fricking delicious.
