Disappointed. Bland, doesn't drink at its proof. Tasted like cinnamon water. Put red hots in your mouth and drink water. No burn, no flavor, no lingering flavor, just bland. 4 others at the tasting had the same opinion. I love Hirsch, but not this one, especially at this price. I feel cheated. Nice box.215.0 USD per Bottle

Shortbarrel Bee Keeper
Flavored Whiskey — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 15, 2022 (edited July 30, 2022)Lots of ethanol on the nose, slightly floral some nuttiness after swirling. Appears young and thin with no oily legs on the glencarin. Early burn on the tongue. Thin and hot for a 101. Not too sweet, some honey but not as expected. Some nuttiness on the backend. Recommend to let it breathe to open more flavor. Overall I enjoyed it and will revisit to see if it opens more. Worth $60???? I'll enjoy the rare breed, OF100 and eagle rare for less. -
Ethanol nose with pepper spice followed by burnt sugar. Palate is immediate caramel popcorn followed quickly by nutty bitterness. I thought this was liquid cracker jacks without the cheap box prize. It's definitely different and I can see where it could be polarizing as it's a Canadian Whiskey and not Bourbon.
