Nose is like an good aged Rum. initial taste impressions are that of a toasted rye sandwich fading into banana pudding. This has one of the best aftertastes of any inexpensive bourbon out there. Well worth the cash.

Nose is very deceitful for this one. Up front you're bombarded with banana, vanilla, and sugary sweetness. The tail end is spicy and harsh, with an almost bitter aftertaste. Not my favorite, but it makes an interesting drink to compare with others and an AMAZING mixer.

Nose is mildly astringent and almost bland, hiding the complex richness as a surprise. This bourbon is very leathery and has good mouth feel. It's spicier than I expected. Overall a decent bourbon at a rock bottom price. It's not as good as any of the W.L. Weller offerings, but it's easy to find and drinks well.

Not as good as Willet. Still amazing, but for the money, Willet is better.
