Vanilla on the nose and I am picking up a hint of sweetness in the form of honey. Despite it not being heavy on the rye, it was still very spicy with a mild burn. Great depth of flavor. This is one that could be enjoyed neat or on the rocks. I was pleasantly surprised by this bourbon at only $20.99 a bottle. This would make a solid addition to an entry level collection.

Overall, a pretty average whiskey. It is very comparable to Jack Daniels No. 7. You can smell the grainy mash on the nose. As the name suggests, it is a sour smell to the mash, but there is also a hint of sweet. Throughout the drink, there is a fairly pleasant vanilla taste. For the price at $28.99 for a 1.75L bottle (compared to $34.99 for a 1.75L bottle of Jack Daniels), it is a great deal. Like Jack, I wouldn’t choose to drink it straight, but not a bad choice for a mixed drink.

Overall impression: Weak, watered down flavor On the nose, I am unable to decipher any distinct flavor notes. Just a light ethanol smell. Taste is quite simply described as diluted. Like the nose, there are no descript flavors to be found. For the cheap price, it is a good “party bourbon”, as I call it. Something that can be used as an easy mixer and if some gets wasted, no fret. $23.99 for a 1.75L

Strong peanut smell and flavor. It is very unique whiskey. Sweet flavor. I tried a couple sips of it before having it in an Irish Peanut Butter Cup (a pint of Guinness with a shot of Sheep Dog Peanut Butter Whiskey).
