Liked this better than the 14 yr. Didn’t have the strong tobacco finish. Good bourbon but I struggle with the price/value.

First pour if this and I really enjoyed it. Definitely milder than the other Blue Run releases. The 95 proof was evident. I typically lean to hotter/heavier bourbons, but the lighter pour is a good change, especially when it’s hot outside. More to come on this one, but I can see this being a great summer sipper.

Finished off this barrel pick from liquor xpress in Easley SC. Was a great bottle, but all these Russels picks are great. Great balance of heat/sweet/oak. Doesn’t get much better than this for the price.

Charlotte Bourbon Society barrel pick. Very surprised by this one. Really nice rye. Didn’t have much of a nose when I first poured it but opened up nicely after a few minutes. First pour so will revisit in a few weeks.
