Easy to drink, a bit sweet with some heat on the back end. The bourbon, the story, and the bottle and key make this a very interesting and exciting bottle start to finish.

Barreled on 9.27.13 Barrel No. 866 Bottled on 7.16.21 Overpowered nutty taste, not nutty notes, but a robust nutty flavor. Honestly thought I accidentally bought peanut butter whiskey. It seemed like a very good value for a single barrel under $30, but based on other reviews it seems like I may have had a bad barrel? I would love to find someone with this vintage from a different barrel to compare.
