Glenlivet 12 Year Double Oak
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed November 28, 2021 (edited December 9, 2021)Fruity (apple-like), floral, and honey notes to the nose — nice hint of the oak. Very light, not lingering, abnormally so. Fairly smooth, a little peppery forward. Pick up the oak on exhaling. Yes, to the “sweet” mentioned on the taste profile but it’s not cloying in any way. A nice solid single malt but not a deeply memorable taste profile.
