Tastes

Quite nice and soft whisky. On the nose vanilla, toffee, apple, plenty of spice, and nice camp fire smoke. Palate is soft and rounded, still vanilla, toffee, smoke, and a hint of apricot. There is also spice and a pinch of salt perhaps. Long and spicy aftertaste. Good value for money

Nice nose of nuts and red apple, with some hint of raisins and vanilla. Rich palate of spices, figues, vanilla, apples, nuts, and minerals. Very nice whiskey, with good QPR.

My winter dram, and that's where the score is coming from. Nose opens with a lots of peat and smoke. With the time more phenolic notes appear, as well as a fresh apple. On the palate there is red apple, spices, sweet notes of toffee, cinnamon pie, and a hint of smoke. After more aeration there are vanilla, honey, and old rhum notes. It perfectly matches the name... Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Perfect winter whisky. Cheers!

Nose - fairly standard, with prominent red apple and caramel. Palate is very mellow, with vanilla, toffee, apricot, and apple. Not very complex, but quite nice and very drinkable.

Fantastic rye, extremely rich and fruity!
