Don Julio Real Extra Añejo Tequila
Tequila Extra Añejo — Highlands, Mexico
Reviewed January 10, 2019 (edited August 29, 2021)I am biased. I don't think you can go wrong with anything from Don Julio. There is a good bit of oak and richness from the barrel. It is smooth and will demand you pay attention to the nuances. Every time I sip it I pick up something new. Very good neat and if you have to add anything, I would prefer splash of Grand Marnier and/or possibly Disaronno and a squeeze of lime and nothing else. -
Cimarrón Blanco Tequila
Tequila Blanco — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed January 10, 2019 (edited October 1, 2020)I love this tequila. It is a greatly underrated tequila and typically hard to find. It comes in 1 liter bottles. I like sipping this tequila and using this tequila as a mixer. It is light and fruity, crisp and clean tasting. It is a very inexpensive tequila which I believe causes most people to skip over it. The blanco is better than the reposado in my opinion. -
